Landscape Foreman

This person will be responsible for executing landscape activities as designed by the landscape designer. May lead a crew of one to three laborers depending on project needs. This person will be responsible for making sure all product and equipment is delivered to the job site in a reasonable and safe manner. Will perform or supervise the excavation and installation of patios, retaining walls, steps, fill dirt and topsoil, grass seed or sod, mulch, rock, plants, landscape lighting, etc.
This person may be assigned to the irrigation crew as the company’s needs required. The landscape foreman reports to the company owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Crew management of 1-3 people
- Ensuring crew safety and that no one is needlessly put in dangerous situations
- Managing crew time sheets and turning them in to supervisor daily
- Performing or directly supervising the construction of paver patios, walkways, seat walls, grading, seed/sod, rock beds and edging, mulch, etc.
- Keeping track of all job supplies and equipment used, including equipment hours if applicable
- Maintain equipment in presentable and operable order, informing supervisor if repair is needed
- Clean jobsite at the end of every day and after each job
- Report to supervisor any accidents that happen on company time or with company equipment
- Snow removal in winter, either working alone or with a crew
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape installation, with 2 years of supervisory/foreman experience preferred
- Must have experience operating skid steers, mini-skid steers, and mini-excavators
- Snow removal experience is preferred, but willing to train

Irrigation Installation Foreman

This person will be responsible for leading a crew of between one and three laborers in the installation of lawn sprinkler systems. As the foreman, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of your truck, trailer, equipment, and machine. You will install irrigation systems per company guidelines and/or installation drawing. You may be required to assist with landscape lighting installations, whether just plowing in lighting cable or full installations. May be required to assist with the landscaping crew as needed.
This position reports to the company owner.

Landscape or Irrigation Laborer
Email to ApplyLaborers will be responsible for following the direction of their respective crew foreman. Depending on the crew to which you are assigned, you could be installing irrigation systems, paver patios or walkways, retaining walls, grading, seeding or sodding, or installing landscape lighting. You will be responsible, at the direction of the crew leader and/or company owner, to perform maintenance on company-owned equipment.
May be 16 or 17 to apply, but MUST be 18 or older to operate machinery. Laborers will be required to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, and 100 pounds or more on an occasional basis. Must be willing to work long hours, 10-12 hours per day regularly, and be able and willing to show up to work on time, with a positive attitude. Work will be outdoors in all types of weather conditions. You will be provided with company shirts and sweatshirts, but you are ultimately responsible for dressing appropriately for the weather.
